Daniel Fisher

Principal  

Daniel began his career as an actuarial consultant at Optum Advisory. He worked with clients to improve their risk management practices using advanced data analytics and machine learning. During his time at Optum, Daniel noticed a concerning lack of risk management and data integrity in the real estate industry and decided to leverage his skills to provide a better solution for investors. This ultimately led to him co-launching Rise Capital Strategic Investments, focusing on strategic acquisitions across the United States, alongside his father, David Fisher, and William Spencer. Leveraging his background in data science and machine learning, Daniel brings a rigorous analytical approach to identifying and managing strategic acquisition opportunities.

Daniel graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2021 with a degree in Actuarial Science after only two years in college, due to taking a rigorous course load. Daniel is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. He passed all seven associate exams with high marks in just over three years. Daniel and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Eden Prairie, MN. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, long bike rides with his wife, skiing and exploring the outdoors.
